Service Description
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) I use CBT techniques to help client's change negative or inaccurate thinking patterns and behaviors. CBT works well for those suffering from anxiety, stress, PTSD, and depression. However, I often combine other treatment methods with CBT, offering a more personalized experience during the therapy process. Mind-body approach I use a more holistic approach to therapy. Being that many mental health disorders present themselves through physical symptoms, it is important to understand how the mind and body are connected. Many illnesses and symptoms of pain are indeed healed with proper mind-body cohesion. Person-centered (Rogerian) I feel that clients know themselves better than anyone else. It is important for me to apply treatment methods that are based on client personal feedback. Personal strengths and natural abilities are always considered throughout the treatment process. I create treatment based on each client's unique (and often uncovered) abilities to thrive.
